Bigg Boss 17 contestant Mannara Chopra shared a video on her Instagram, for which she was criticized. The actor shared that she was ‘enjoying the rain’ but netizens called her out for being tone-deaf.

Mannara shared a video in which she is dancing on the song Akhiyaan Gulab in the balcony of a high-rise building. Wearing a pink tank top with black pants, she shows off her moves as it rains. She even climbs over the railing of her balcony to dance, which worries some of her fans. While sharing the video she wrote, “Enjoying the first rain!! In the middle of the shooting day. #First rain.” Some fans also thought she looked adorable in the video.

But given the situation in Mumbai due to the dust storm and rain, which led to a falling billboard and hospitalization of people, some netizens were not thrilled with her sharing such a video. One commented, “Buildings have collapsed, people are hospitalized and probably some dead, some are still in the debris and rescue operations are on and the brainless rich have to make a reel. (..and these brainless rich want to make reels.)” A fan noticed that she was being trolled, writing, “@memannara delete this reel.. you are trolling.”
Another asked: “14 people have died Esme and she is dancing. (When 14 people died then what is the point of dancing)” One wrote, “Everyone here is upset and they have to dance, this is too much for such people.” (Everyone is worried and then there are people who want to dance)” One was so angry he wrote, “Shameless don’t even know how many people suffered and died in this storm in many places in Mumbai today”
