Bajaj Auto, a major player in the two-wheeler market, has unveiled the refreshed version of its popular Pulsar series, with upgrades to the NS160 and NS200 models. With revised features and graphics, these bikes promise a better riding experience than their predecessors.

Introduction of new models:

Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200

  1. Bajaj Auto has simultaneously launched the Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 in the domestic market, marking significant improvements over the previous iterations.
  2. The starting price of the Pulsar NS160 has been set at Rs 1.46 lakh, while the Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom).

Key changes to the Pulsar NS160 And Pulsar NS200 range:

Pulsar NS200

  • Both bikes feature a new LED headlight setup, with thunder-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) enhancing their aesthetics.
  • The bike has retained its muscular design, with minimal changes to the panels and bodywork to maintain cost-effectiveness.

Power and Performance Upgrades:

Pulsar NS160

  1. The NS160 retains its 160 cc engine, which produces 17.03 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
  2. On the other hand, the NS200 has a 199 cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 24.13 bhp of power and 18.74 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

NS Pulsar Features and Specifications:

  • Both models are equipped with new digital displays, which offer features like a speedometer, RPM meter, odometer, fuel level indicator and smartphone connectivity.
  • Riders can receive call and message notifications during the journey, enhancing convenience and safety during the ride.

  1. The bikes are equipped with Up-Side Down Fork (USD) front suspension and mono-shock rear suspension for better stability and comfort.
  2. Disc brakes at both front and rear wheels with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), ensuring efficient braking performance.
  3. Sporting 17-inch wheels, these bikes offer the right balance of agility and control on the road.

With these updates, Bajaj’s Pulsar NS160 and NS200 stand as strong contenders in the competitive two-wheeler market, catering to riders looking for style, performance and advanced features in their bikes.
