Rapper Badshah is gearing up to make history as the first Indian hip-hop artist to headline at UNTOLD, one of the world’s largest music festivals. The festival, known for its stellar lineup of international artists, will take place from February 15 to 18 at Expo City Dubai, marking its debut in the Middle East.
Badshah expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, “I’m thrilled to be performing alongside some stellar acts at UNTOLD Dubai. Looking forward to taking India to the world!” His performance on the Mainstage will be a significant moment for Indian music on the global stage.
Joining Badshah on the lineup are renowned artists such as Armin van Buuren, Ellie Goulding, Tiësto, G-Eazy, PSY, Major Lazer Soundsystem, and many more. The festival boasts over 100 artists across five stages, offering a diverse range of musical genres over four electrifying days.
Each stage at UNTOLD Dubai promises a unique musical experience, from the Main Stage featuring global superstars to the Galaxy Stage showcasing house and techno pioneers. The Alchemy Stage will cater to fans of dubstep, drum and bass, rap, and trap, while the Time Stage offers an immersive journey through space and time. Additionally, the Retro Fashion Stage will provide a nostalgic escape with retro pop, rock, and disco classics.
Expo City Dubai will be transformed into a musical wonderland spanning over 170,000 square meters, with more than 70,000 attendees expected each day. In addition to the stellar music lineup, festival-goers can enjoy fashion villages featuring creative designers and culinary delights from over 40 vendors.
To kick off the festival’s inaugural chapter in Dubai, the UNTOLD team partnered with Armin van Buuren for two world records: the highest performance on the tallest building on the planet, Burj Khalifa, and the largest LED screen used for a show.
