On the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday, April 17, ‘Surya Tilak’ (sun rays) was applied on the forehead of the idol of Lord Ram Lala in the Ayodhya temple. The ‘Surya Tilak’ of the deity was made possible by an elaborate mechanism consisting of mirrors and lenses. Scientists tested this system on Tuesday.
