- Rakshabandhan ritual time – from 01:30 pm to 09:08 pm
- Afternoon Muhurta for Rakshabandhan – from 01:43 pm to 04:20 pm
- Pradosh Kaal Muhurta for Rakshabandhan – from 06:56 pm to 09:08 pm
- Rakshabandhan Bhadra end time – from 05:53 am to 01:32 pm
The best time to tie Rakhi on is afternoon, which is the time after noon. At the same time, tying Rakhi on brother’s hand during Bhadra period is not considered auspicious at all. In such a situation, Rakhi can be tied on 19 August i.e. Rakshabandhan from 01:43 pm to 04:20 pm.

Keep these things in mind
Before tying Rakhi to the brother, perform his Aarti and then apply tilak on the forehead. Tying Rakhi on the right hand of the brother is auspicious. Because God accepts the work done with the right hand like charity etc. After this, brothers should touch the feet of their sisters. Also, there is a tradition of brothers giving some gifts to sisters on this day.
