What is special in Porsche Taycan Turbo GT?
The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT has carbon ceramic brakes and 21-inch forged wheels, which are lighter than the Turbo S. The wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres. It gets Porsche’s Active Ride suspension as standard with specific tuning, while a new front spoiler with aero blades and a flap over the adaptive rear spoiler are also standard on this EV. Engine and performance
The Taycan Turbo GT promises to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.1 seconds compared to the Turbo S variant. The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is also the most powerful car ever made by the automaker.
It promises 766 bhp peak power as standard, which can be increased to 1,005 bhp with the new Attack Mode function. Also, the Taycan Turbo GT produces a maximum torque of 1,344 Nm. This electric mean machine can reach a top speed of up to 305 kmph.
We got to do hot laps for a while with driver Jörg Bergmeister in the lead seat, and he not only kept us alive, but also assured us that he was very surprised by the performance of the turbo GT compared to the gas-powered 911 , which he ran. , indicating that it is one of the rare sedans to generate downforce (when the Track Pack is equipped). The car seemed to be capable of doing everything you could ask of it and perhaps even more, being very balanced with limited toss around the cabin (as a passenger) in corners due to the complex suspension. We were mostly impressed that the brakes were commensurate with the speed and weight.
The Taycan Turbo GT costs $230,000, and is said to be around that if you opt for the Weissach package (probably because you get fewer seats and equipment, but with better performance).
