The ex-showroom price of the top-of-the-line 5.1 kWh variants of TVS iQube is Rs 185,373. It has the largest and most powerful 5.1 kWh battery in the electric scooter segment, which gives a range of up to 150 km on full charge.

Its battery takes more than 4 hours to charge 80 percent. At the same time, its top speed is 82 kmph. Talking about the features, it has many features including 7 inch color TFT touchscreen, more than 118 connected features, voice assist and Alexa skillset, digital document storage, tire pressure monitoring system, 32 liters of underseat storage space.

The ex-showroom price of the new ST 3.4 kWR variant of TVS iQube is Rs 1,55,555. It has a 3.4 kWh battery, which can run up to 100 kilometers when fully charged.

It takes about 3 hours to charge up to 80 percent. Talking about the features, it has other features including 7 inch color TFT touchscreen, more than 118 connected features, voice assist, tire pressure monitoring system, digital document storage, 32 liters of under seat storage space. Its top speed is 78 kmph.

What is special in iQube ST series

Finally the company has launched iQube ST in the market. In its ST 12, the company has given a battery pack of 3.4 kWh capacity. The ST 17 variant has a battery pack with a capacity of 5.1 kWh. This is the largest battery pack ever introduced in the Indian market.

In this series, the company has included features like TFT display, digital document storage, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and Alexa voice assistance. The company claims that the iQube ST 17 will give a real world driving range of 150 km on a single charge. Its battery gets charged from 0 to 80% in 4 hours 18 minutes. Its top speed is 82 km/hr. That means it is the fastest compared to all other variants.

Impact of FAME-II subsidy:

After the end of FAME II subsidy, the new Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) was launched. After which the amount of subsidy reduced to almost half of the earlier amount.

After the roll-out of this new scheme, most electric two-wheeler manufacturers tried to reduce the price of their models to below Rs 1 lakh. Earlier, Ola and Ather launched scooters in the market at a price of Rs 1 lakh and now TVS has introduced the base model of its updated iQube at a price of Rs 94,999.

Booking and Delivery:

The base variant of TVS iQube has been launched in the market with an introductory price. Which is valid till 30th June 2024. This means that in future the company can update the prices of its base variant.

Whereas, for those customers who book ST series scooter before 15th July 2024, this scooter will be available at introductory price. The company is also giving a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000 with the top variant.

iQube has been a consistent selling scooter for TVS with sales of over 1.94 lakh units in FY2024, while the company sold 17,403 units of the electric scooter in April this year, marking a good start to the new financial year. The TVS iQube will soon face tough competition from the upcoming Ather Rizta, while the more affordable Ola S1

Apart from the new iQube, TVS will also launch its electric three-wheeler in the market in FY 2025. This will be the brand’s first offering in the space and the model will compete with electric three-wheelers from companies like Piaggio, Bajaj, Ultigreen, Euler and others.
