Hero MotoCorp launched its flagship bike Maverick 440 in the Indian market in February 2024. It has been co-developed with the Harley-Davidson X440, so both the motorcycles share some parts in common. Now the brand has announced that they will start the deliveries of the Maverick 440 from April 15th.

People who book the motorcycle before March 15 will also get a Maverick Kit of accessories and merchandise worth Rs 10,000.
Hero Maverick 440 Design and dimensions
While the Harley-Davidson is more of a cruiser, the Maverick 440 has a roadster design. It features a muscular fuel tank with a mix of modern and retro elements. Hero MotoCorp has also used the element for the fuel tank, shrouds and fenders.
Engine and performance
The Hero Maverick 440 engine produces a maximum power output of 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 36 Nm at 4,000 rpm, which is slightly 2 Nm less than the torque of the X440. The engine is calibrated to give priority to low-end torque, providing a better riding experience in urban areas and on expressways.
It has 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, a 320 mm disc and dual-channel ABS has been provided at the front. At the same time, there is a 240mm disc in the rear.
