Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child in a few months. In a recent interview with iDiva, Anisha Padukone shared her feelings about her sister and brother-in-law’s baby. The professional golfer and CEO of Live Love Laugh Foundation, a mental health organization started by Deepika in 2015, also opened up about ‘spoiling’ the child. Who will spoil Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh child?
When asked how she felt about becoming an aunt, Anisha Padukone said, “Very good, very good…feeling for the first time.” It is difficult. I want to tell Ranveer, but I am afraid that my parents (Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone) will also be there. She also admitted that she could ‘ruin’ Deepika’s baby too.
News of Deepika and Ranveer’s child
Deepika and Ranveer, who married in 2018 after dating for six years, announced their pregnancy news on Instagram on February 29. He wrote that his child will arrive in September 2024. Deepika and Ranveer, 38, tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy.
In early March, the parents-to-be attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish three-day pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat. His pictures and videos with the Ambani family and celebrity guests went viral on social media.
In an interview with Vogue Singapore in January 2024, Deepika expressed her hope of becoming parents, saying, “Ranveer and I love kids. We look forward to the day when we start our family. He also reflected on his upbringing and stressed the importance of staying grounded despite fame and money.
