Halsey is a very successful singer and has millions of fans all over the world. But little people know that her private life is far from a fairytale. The star always wanted to become a mother, but her health didn’t allow her to carry a pregnancy. Her only wish right now is a child.
She recently released her new album Manic, which was received by the public with excitement. One of the songs from this album caught everyone’s attention. “More,” tells her story and her desire to be a mother.
Halsey suffers from endometriosis, a condition that caused her to experience numerous miscarriages. The singer wrote on Twitter:
“I have endometriosis. I’ve had 3 miscarriages, 4 surgeries, pretty much in pain every day of my life and I’ve donated/raised upwards of $300,000 in the name of research and support. I’m not trying to be quirky. Or different. I’m just trying to normalize an under-discussed illness.”
Unfortunately, she received a lot of hate and she was severely criticized, so she decided to delete the post. Now, she had de courage to speak about her miscarriage again and open more to her fans:
“It’s the most inadequate I’ve ever felt. Here I am achieving this out-of-control life, and I can’t do the one thing I’m biologically put on this earth to do. Then I have to go onstage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? It is demoralizing.”
The star added that she strongly believes that one day, she will be able to become a mother. She hadn’t lost her hope yet, and this is the most important thing. The day this will happen will be the happiest day of her life, a real “miracle,” as she named it.
