With the Coronavirus killing more and more people every day, almost everyone is concerned about their own health. The main cause of this fear is the fact that you can get sick very easily and the cause can be unknown until you realise that you indeed got infected.
What are the common symptoms for the Coronavirus?
A study made by the Zhongang Hospital of Wuhan University on 140 patients should answer all our questions about this disease, also known as COVID-19.
The first common symptoms are high fever, fatigue and a dry cough. In addition to that, an infected person might also experience muscle pain and difficulty when breathing.
After the 5th day of being sick, common actions like breathing become harder and harder. On day 8, severe cases of illness develop an acute respiratory disease, when fluid is accumulated in the lungs.
Most people get better after 17 days, but not everyone is so lucky to get healed. 2% of the people infected with the Coronavirus die during this period.
Taking that into consideration, the COVID-19 disease can be easily confused with a simple cold. People should keep in mind this aspect and go to see a doctor as soon as possible. If they have been near a person that has been already diagnosed with the virus or they have travelled in an affected area, they should do this as soon as possible. It isn’t only about their health, but they should protect other people as well.
